ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
- A relaxed and friendly evening of Brazilian & Afro-Brazilian Hand Drumming Rhythms & Song, for all levels of singing and musical experience.
- This workshop is taught by our main percussion & dance teacher, Mika.
- We'll cover some hand and stick drumming and songs, from a variety of Brazilian and Afro-Brazilian traditions.
- The workshop is designed for adults, but teens are welcome with a participating adult.
- We'll be drumming seated playing Brazilian Atabaque and Conga drums.
- You'll be playing with our regular hand drumming members too, so there'll be lots of friendly support from others.
- The aim is to provide you with the opportunity to enjoy making music together and get all those brain and body benefits of drumming and singing!

- Our next workshop is Thursday 16 April 2026
- Please arrive for 7:15pm so we can welcome you to the space and get you settled in.
- The workshop runs 7.30-9pm.
- If you've not been before, please allow extra time to find us and park.

- Free on-street parking on King St and surrounding streets.
