Engage and inspire pupils with a workshop day to get them excited about culture, music and dance.

Our school visits provide an exciting cross curricular experience exploring authentic rhythms, dances and songs of Brazil.

We cater for primary and secondary schools and can arrange a bespoke workshop plan to suit your needs, from one-off days to a series of visits.

Our primary school workshop days are delivered by a team of two, a lead artist and supporting multi-instrumentalist, and all taught with live percussion/musical accompaniment to make a lasting impression on your pupils.

Workshop subjects include
- Carnival Dance
- Hand Drumming
- Samba Drumming
- Singing/Portuguese

Days can be based on one subject, or any combination, depending on how many groups you wish to take part, for example, one subject with 6 classes over the day, or subject combinations working with one class for half a day. We also offer an interactive assembly to get the whole school energised with fun body percussion, singing and dancing to live drumming.

Workshops for secondary schools are usually delivered by a team of two, a lead artist and supporting percussionist, to provide style specific live musical accompaniment to fully engage participants.

Workshop subjects include:
- Carnival Dance
- Traditional Afro-Brazilian Dance
- Capoeira (Martial-Art / Dance F
- Samba Drumming
- Junk Percussion
- Body Percussion

Days can be structured to cater for a number of groups, all based on the same subject, with workshops from 45 mins to 1hr 30 mins, to suit your timetable.
